What art degree are you pursuing in addition to medicine? I’m just wondering because I’m currently majoring in religious studies and biology and there’s another Catholic here on campus that’s doing pre-med and studio art.

Great to see molecular biology make the list!

I’m currently working on my bachelors in Animal Science, and I will probably, finally, actually dual-major in Biochemistry (I’m still a freshman…).

I hope to get a PhD eventually in animal science or biochem, and research sheep diseases and or genetics, catalytic RNA, or something similar, as well as teach. I may also decide to get a DVM.
Enjoy this book then by Francis Collins.

HEY DOECO!

I live in Canada and we don’t have “premed”. Those who pursue medicine can get any undergrad they want as long as they fulfil the medical school’s prerequisite!

My program is odd, we don’t get to narrow down what we learn first year, with respect to the"arts", we basically take courses from different fields from humanities and the liberal arts. As for the sciences, it’s all up to us. However, in the upcoming years, we will kindof be forced to narrow down, so I might end up doing bio and philosophy! I might take religious studies courses too tho 😛

graduate in a month and two days with a degree in liberal arts with a focus in philosophy.
