Are you attending an All Souls' Day Mass?

I just got back from Mass and then visiting the cemetery right down the street. There is a Requiem Mass tonight but I can’t go to that. I love daily Mass! And today was very nice, all about Purgatory, which I need more catechizing on. When I was little, before my mom passed and thus ended my catechism, we had a conception of Purgatory as sort of the upper level of Hell - not quite as hot, but still being punished. The priest today talked about how a lot of Catholics have a “prison” mentality when it comes to Purgatory, and how that is wrong. I hope to find out some day!

Did he go into how he views purgatory? I’m interested!

I wish I could have but the timing meant I couldn’t. 😦
I’ve been going to Daily Mass lately but unfortunately two days of the week I’m in class when they hold Mass so I can’t make it.
