XXXchurch exists to bring awareness, openness, accountability and recovery to the church, society and individuals in the issues of pornography and to begin to provide solutions through non-judgmental and creative means. XXXchurch is here to make you think, react and to decide where you stand on the issues of porn. We’re not here to sling mud, but to shove the envelope and try and do some good.

The Church and Church Leaders:
How come no one is talking about sex, porno, hot chicks and all the other things that we deal with on a daily basis at church on Sunday mornings? C’mon now! Our society is looking for some real answers and the truth.
This is bunk. They are. Let’s see, right off the top of my head:
  • my priest has talked about pornography in his Sunday homily
  • last weekend I went to a Baptist church that did a 5 hour course over 2 days on sexual immorality and how to address it
  • Pope John Paul II wrote this little thing called…The Theology of the Body
Our Church has the answers on this issue. And they’re talking about it.
Fact of life is that teens like to look at porno. Hey, who doesn’t? The problem is that nobody is giving them the other side of the story. We tell them to stay away from crack and not to drink too much, but how come no one is letting them know that Porn Boulevard is a dead end.
That Baptist thing I went to was jam-packed with teenagers. I assume that Christopher West’s and Jason Evert’s are likewise (I hope they are, I haven’t been to them).

I was looking at the website and I did not like how they said “Christian [crud]” (on the main page of the 1st link the OP gave). It seems like they are trying to downplay their Christianity to invite more people to their site. I understand that having a “holier than thou” attitude won’t entice non-Christians to participate on the web site, but I think that keeping Christianity from being at least somewhat prominent will be denying themselves the opportunity they have to do more than just tell people to say no to porn. Of course, this is only my first impression. I do think that it’s good for teenagers (I assume that is the main audience at which they are aiming) to have hot-button issues out there to discuss, but I hope people don’t miss the boat to, shall I say, evangelize to them in an appropriate way.

From what Wampa cited, (the second one) I don’t think I’d agree with the article on much more than the general outline. I find that quote offensive.
