Yep, in two days Harold Camping’s next date is here and in three days one more day late for lunch. :rolleyes:

I hope this time none of his followers kill their children after they realize that they were NOT raptured as expected! :stretcher: so sad…😦
 
I’d rather like the world to end before I go in for my first (and God willing my only) colonoscopy. 😛

This makes it even more clear to me why every Tom, Dick and Harry shouldn’t be trying to interpret scripture, especially prophecies, on their own. 🤷

So many people are under the false assumption that the Apocalypse (Revelation) is all prophecy related to the end of the world. They don’t know the difference between the two. Revelation is merely the ‘revealing’ of truth that was previously unknown. While there could be some prophecy in it, it’s not really an entire book of prophecy, otherwise it would probably be called the “book of prophecy”. I used to think that it was all prophetic (learned from sources that were more inclined to believe that) until I recently learned the real difference between the two.

Amen to that. I too just went to Confession. But somehow I think that the world will keep on going.

Hopefully there will be no suicides like last time when it is proven that the world will not end.

Oh I’m quite ready. Why just yesterday while I was getting my credentials ready for job searching, some guy gave me this real cool looking scythe and said I was hired to be one of the Four Horsemen. Whoopee! 😃

Frankly Camping is a Modalist, who is basing his interpretations on “personal revelations from God”. He is not even attempting to do proper exegesis. For example he redefines the word earthquake, to mean that mankind will be shaken up in their spirit. lol

I’m laughing pretty hard right now. Thank you. But let me tell you a colonoscopy is not as bad as you think it is. I had 3 in just 2 weeks. The actual procedure is a breeze it’s the prep that is a pain. I had colon cancer and they were part of the process leading up to surgery. But everything worked out fine. Cancer free, no chemo and no radiation.

could handle an extended vacation in Paradise but eh?! 😉
