Thank you for your kind words and prayers. I’m sure the prayers helped because the procedure went off without a hitch–and even better the world didn’t end.I’m laughing pretty hard right now. Thank you. But let me tell you a colonoscopy is not as bad as you think it is. I had 3 in just 2 weeks. The actual procedure is a breeze it’s the prep that is a pain. I had colon cancer and they were part of the process leading up to surgery. But everything worked out fine. Cancer free, no chemo and no radiation.
Della, I’ll pray for you. It’s not as bad as you think. God bless you.
The prep was particualarly hard on me, though, and I ended up in the hospital after throwing up all the miralax and Gatorade I’d had to drink. They gave me nausea meds and let me go home, but as a diabetic it scared me when I felt so awful and lightheaded.
But, the world didn’t end, so that was a blessing, at least. My dh goes in Tues for his colonoscopy, also his first. I hope his prep goes better for him–he’s also diabetic. A prayer or two would be appreciated for him.
How you went through 3 procedures in just 2 weeks and lived to tell the tale is beyond me–I couldn’t do it. :tiphat: But thank God you are all right with no cancer and, once again, the world didn’t end.
