So in the hospital the Dr. says “from 1 to 10 what pain are you feeling” When I say about 7 or 8, he looks at me and says “Looking at your scans Im amazed at your pain threshold” He was looking at stage 3 cancer. If He had asked me, From 1 to 10, how much pain do you feel for your wife and family when you tell them, I couldn’t put a number on it. Only He knows what I can handle, because I don’t. Tim

God bless you Tim. I believe that it is truly difficult to really understand the pain of the cross until you experience something as you just described. We all know that Christ was in pain as he carried His cross after being scorged at the pillar and crowned with thorns. But we often don’t think about how it must have hurt Him terribly to know that his mother and beloved disciples were frightened and suffering emotionally at what was taking place.
I pray that God will grant you healing. May all the suffering that you endure be multiplied many times over in consolation and healing love from God.
