I listen to EWTN when in my car, and I’ve heard this expression several times now. Quite frankly I find it disturbing - “both Catholics and Christians themselves agree…”.
Something like this lends credence to the argument of our non Catholic brothers that Catholics are not Christians. Wouldn’t it be more correct to say - “both Catholics and other Christians themselves agree…”?
