You should try to explain that to some the FOUNDERS OF SCIENCE who accepted biblical creation, the list is many and their belief did not hinder their science. A denial of the philosophy of evolutionary speculation, extrapolation and storytelling is not a denial of science.
To whom do you refer?

Even wiki will tell you. Newton and Robert Grosseteste (inventor of the scientific method)are good examples.

Are you addressing me? How exactly could Newtron and Gosseteste accept Darwinin evolution?

Notice i did NOT say that one could not be a creationist, i said one would not deny evolution. Pretty hard to deny a theory that was not in existance.

Well you would not want to deny yourself being subjected to an MRI scan when your doctor says you need one, since it was Raymond Damadian an “evolution denier” who invented it. It has provided huge benefits to the Medical profession, he was awarded 2001 Lemelson-MIT Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, he is is an inductee of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, a recipient of the National Medal of Technology.

If you have found nothing substantive enough then you clearly have not looked for, or not understood the evidence. For there is overwhelming evidence in support of evolution.
And overwhelming holes in the theory.

I am still waiting on those transitional species you promised.
I read through the materials, underwhelming is one word.

And complexity is still a big problem, one you have failed to address.

You can stick with your appeal to ignorance if you wish, but that places you in the company of mystics and cultists rather then real scientsts.

And complexity is still a big problem…
It’s a massive problem. Irreducible complexity. A step-by-step, gradual increase in information and functionality with intermediate forms serving some kind of function?
Something more than the explanation “it’s possible” is needed.

How does DNA solve this knotty problem?
esnips.com/doc/b5b2ce11-cdb8-4548-9ed7-3e5fd20c3ab5/Topoisomerase

Class II topoisomerase performs the amazing feat of breaking a DNA double helix, passing another helix through the gap, and resealing the double helix behind it. The picture shown here is built from two PDB entries: 1bgw has the lower part of the topoisomerase, and 1ei1 is a domain from a gyrase, which is similar to the upper part of the topoisomerase. The topoisomerase is thought to be a highly dynamic structure, with several gates for entry of DNA into the two DNA-sized holes. Two tyrosine amino acids, shown in red, cleave the DNA strands and form a covalent bond with them, holding them tightly until the DNA can be restored.

Right, evolution must have stopped in this day and age because I don’t see nothing changing into a new species. Billions and Billions (so they say;) )of years have all ready past by to give them plenty of time to do something.

Here is a very interesting talk about transitionals. Including tiktaallik ( around 25:00 and look at predictions at 47:00)

Famous Medical Breakthroughs - The Christian Pioneers

Dr Markus Schichtel looks at the lives and work of three famous scientists whose discoveries transformed medical practice. Joseph Lister with antiseptic techniques, James Clerk Maxwell with electrical instruments and James Young Simson an obstetrician and pioneer in the field of anaesthetics.

“deny all science”? This is indicative of a cult and a belief system and it’s certainly not science. My training in electronics included zero about evolution.

The god called science is actually the limited mind of man, and it should not be worshipped.

Peace,
Ed

Ha ha the intellectuals are in full flow, did any of you pass grade school. :o

Evolution is over a century old, and despite the nit picks by self described scientists, the evidence gathered in that time by and large supports evolution,
Hi tjm,

Could you give me a for instance on this?

Thanks.
