This is a good point. I often remind myself that now I will not have to spend the next few decades waiting to see if my husband developed Alzheimers like his mom did. I was already wondering a bit how to deal with that and if there were any tests we should have done in advance.we do not know what future trauma the Lord mercifully spared them from.
Yes. This is something that was told to me when my mother died just when it seemed her melanoma treatment was working (her tumors were shrinking). We don’t know what the future holds, and she could have been in for something more horrible than what she already endured.
