What’s the purpose of the Vatican 2018 decree that monastic communities of fewer than 7 sisters are no longer allowed? It sounds like this community still had a place, a purpose in that city.

Has everything to do with the age and abilities of the nuns. The Cincinnati Poor Clares took in these remaining sisters.

Small communities are regionalized and consolidated for practical purposes.
