This faces a common sort of problem people of faith have at some time in their lives.

As I kid, I recognized the Jesus Divinity put down in my first adult biography of Jesus Christ.

The first step to solve the Divinity question is to ask the essential question – Why should Jesus be Divine? One answer is John 3:16-17.

Genesis 3:11 is the disobedience of Adam resulting in a shattered friendship relationship between humanity and Divinity. ( State of Original Holiness aka State of Sanctifying Grace) This relationship is established by the Creator God for the creature Adam and his descendants.

Here is the problem. The human Adam scorns God and Original Sin is the result. However, Adam cannot repair the relationship because he is not the Divine Person Who originated the relationship. In the greatest act of love, it is the Divine Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity Who assumes human nature so that He can step into the sandals of Adam.

The Incarnation means that Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, remains Divine. That is, Jesus is still a fully Divine Person Who has assumed a second nature, humankind.

That is the answer to Why should Jesus be Divine?
