“On All Saints Day (Saturday, 11/01) we celebrate the glory of the saints in heaven. The church teaches that everyone in heaven is a saints.”

On this day we can even celebrate with the Church our own family members, friends and neighbors now in heaven.

And the Byzantine Catholics celebrate Sunday of All Saints on the first Sunday after Pentecost, which was June 16, 2019 most recently.

For Byzantine Catholics, the five All Souls Saturday celebrations are Meat Fare Saturday, the Second, Third, and Fourth Saturdays of Great Lent, and Pentecost Saturday.
