The shroud gives a detailed image of the crucified Christ, this speaker explains, showing his wounds and manifesting the humiliation he endured.
The Shroud of Turin is a length of linen cloth bearing the image of a man who is widely believed to be Jesus of Nazareth. The cloth is believed to be the burial shroud Christ was wrapped in when he was buried after his crucifixion. It is kept in a chapel specially built to house it in Turin, Italy.
