I looked it up on Amazon, and it is getting good press. It however brings to mind all the old warnings about not picking a fight with demons.

I think they are suggesting what to do if the demons are picking a fight with the person rather than the other way around.

I am unfamiliar with the old warnings.
I think we are encouraged to engage in the fight.

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

What is the difference between a faith life and a prayer life? They said to have a prayer life, a faith life, a moral life, and a sacramental life. I would have thought the two I am asking about would be the same?

I find it easier to have a faith life than a prayer life. I have always gone to mass but have to remind myself to pray in a formal way (as opposed to daily conversation with God).

Some might find it easier to pray than to live the faith on a daily basis.

I think they are two separate things.

It helps to remember that spiritual warfare is conducted through the will, not with fancy shiny weapons. Every time we choose God’s will, and what is pleasing to God, we have a victory. Every time we fail to do so, we undergo a defeat. Every day is full of hundreds of tiny choices-- and opportunities to surrender our will to God.
