As A Protestant, Am I Evil?

1. I follow the KJV Bible (with love for, and fear of, this Word), and none other. Am I evil?
2. I refuse to rely on another’s understanding of God’s Word, but rather, seek wisdom and understanding from God, Am I evil?
3. I refuse to accept any material outside of the scope of this Bible, that has not been witnessed by Christ and the Holy Ghost. Am I evil?
4. I love all people, and forgive trespasses of others against me, for His name’s sake and glorification, in obedience to His Word. Am I evil?
5. I give freely to others in need, and seek nothing in return. Am I evil?
6. I witness God’s Word to others, without fear of persecution, for His names sake. Am I evil?
7. I thank God for the wealth that He has provided unto me, that I may purchase the goods and services that I and my family needs. Am I evil?
8. I thank God for the food that He provides unto me, my family and my pets, and ask Hime to bless these gifts before we consume them. Am I evil?
9. I discuss the Word of God with any and all that wish to do so, and take no offense to the responses of others, but rather, evaluate their responses, through reference to the Word of God. Am I evil?
10. I refuse to pray to any person (dead or alive), that I have not been instructed through the Word of God, to do so. Am I evil?
11. I have been spoken to in the Lord’s own voice, when I was in tears, and went to Him in prayer. Am I evil?
12. I relived my carnal birth in a vision. Am I evil?
13. I was brought into the presence of God in a second vision, and Jesus Christ manifested Himself to me. The Father was at the end of a ‘channel’, going up from me to it seemed forever. He made His presence known, but I was not allowed to see Him. Am I evil?
14. The two visions were followed by a dream (I was awakened at the end of the dream, and told to write it down), consisting of a multitude of ‘riddles’, that took over two years of constant prayer, before the interpretation of these riddles had been totally revealed unto me. Am I evil?

Nothing you have said indicates that you are “evil”. You simply have a different set of “beliefs” where others here are concerned.

Just make sure your experiences do not come from a devil appearing as an angel of light. Even Paul had to have his experience confirmed by the other Apostles. The fact that you will not receive instruction from anyone is also a dangerous thing and shows a lack of humility. The Ethiopian Eunach had to be taught by Phillip, for example. Again, even Paul had to be instructed before being sent by the Apostles.

There’s a lot of false prophets out there which is why we should do as Paul instructs and hold fast to the traditions we receive, by letter or word of mouth and that we walk in the ways of the Apostles.

   It doesn’t make you evil, just deceived. the KJV was based on the VERY erroneously translated bishops’ bible, and contains HUNDREDS of the same errors. I would suggest a much better INDEPENTLY translated text, such as the DR

   Well, you’re with a lot of protestants who think of themselves as the pope. What has this led to? 30,000 conflicting denominations. What does the scripture say? That the CHURCH is the pillar and bulwark of truth, not you, and not your interpretations.

   The scripture itself explains to us that we are to hold fast to that which is taught by word or by mouth, and clearly states that not everything could be recorded in the scriptures. The problem is your assumption that the Holy Spirit is powerless today to guide God’s church as Christ promised He would. So perhaps you’re not evil, but here you espouse an evil idea that God is impotent.

   The first part is correct, the last part is not. The bible never sets itself up as a completed document (as discussed above). What you SHOULD be doing is evaluating responses through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which flows through the church, exaclty as Christ stated.

Well, heresy is certainly evil, and claiming that you’re the source of divine revelation in the modern world is certainly in the category of heresy. I’d suggest you review your conscience with active thought on the subject of sins of pride.

Thank you for your reply. I feared what I had experienced, with all my heart. I feared becoming a false prophet, more than any other thing. I went to God in prayerful tears, asking Him who and what I was (I was not aware of Numbers 12:6 at this time. I read through the KJV Bible when I was age 10 or 11, and had forgotten this scripture). He answered me right away, using my thoughts, that “I am who I am.”

In all steps of His revelations to me, He made me aware, that all that was being revealed unto me, came directly from Him. He ended His revelations, with the provision of knowledge, that my name is written in heaven.

This is not a joke. I fear God immensely, and love Him and His Word with the same strength, by which I fear Him. In one night alone, I read completely through the NT twice, while searching out answers. He directed me to these answers. My training has spanned over five years, every waking minute (other than carrying out my carnal duties of taking care of my family) being devoted to searching, praying, and then searching again. I have corresponded with many ministers of many faiths, and each time that I did this, I was shown the errors that were in their responses. I was also directed to search the history of all major faiths, and,the history of major battles from the Helenistic times to the present. He then began to ‘connect the dots’. The results of all of this, are phenominal. I hope to be able to put all that I have experienced, in writing. I will not do so, until God directs me to. Again, I fear making an error, that will result in me becoming a false prophet.

WOW, I’m not really sure what to say. I would be afraid of being a false prophet and I would be afraid of being evil as well. You have to make sure it was God that was talking to you and not Satan trying to use you. I’m going to leave this one up to those who are smater than me. Good luck.

I am matching my own actions against the KJV Bible, and asking the simple question, “Am I evil?” This is in direct response to an enormous amount of threads and responses to these threads, that I have read on this site, that has put the Roman Catholic faith on a pedestal above the Protestant faith, and yet, I can find no witnessing of Jesus Christ per His Word, where many of the RC beliefs/practices are in fact ‘godly’, and required by us to take part in. (In fact, I find the opposite.)

I keep getting responses that refer to my messages as being Catholic, or they came from Catholicism. I beg your pardon, but they come from the Word of God, which is owned by no religion.
