As Catholics, how are we to view the Crusades?

You don’t have any right to tell me not to hijack the thread which is how we should view the crusades. The crusades were authorized by the Pope and therefore the Popes infallability is a falsehood. Sorry, you don’t want to hear that the Pope was wrong in supporting the crusades. He’s actually wrong about alot of things. I’m on this thread for a reason. Sorry you don’t like the message.
Why have you still not gone and done research on what the Pope’s ‘infallibility’ means?

It’s apparent you haven’t and you are just spouting hate, in hopes of demeaning Catholics on a Catholic forum. There is a term that kind of behavior. I’m sure you know what it is.
 
I don’t hate. I am a Catholic posting on a Catholic forum. You just don’t like my posts because they don’t agree with you and your opinions about the crusades. It’s my understanding the Pope initiated and supported the crusades. Isn’t that correct?

The Pope’s infallibility is limited to certain areas, matters of faith and morals. You’d be hard pressed to find such a matter defined in the Crusades.
