The head of Egypt’s tiny Catholic minority is urging a return to order in the country after 11 days of anti-government protests

I am inclined, and comforted, to get the news on EWTN as this situation is implicating more religious persecution depending on who wins the power…

For the past 2 years, our government has not paid attention to the common people of Egypt. And it was interesting to find out the Mubarek government has done really nothing to protect the Copt Christians.

Our government, in spite of various strong voices in the populace, has placed little heed to the Muslim Brotherhood – the mother lode of Jihadism. It began in the 1920’s in Egypt, was in collusion with the Nazis, and committed pogroms against the Jews. Our government has been told that the Muslim Brotherhood is ‘the boy scouts’ of Egypt, ignoring the reality that they are indeed jihadists, and they are here in our country.

It is under the umbrella of the Muslim Brotherhood, and its various cynical forms of terrorism, that we are facing a new class of immigrants who sue and intimidate their way into our culture and then protest our dislike of them, our total apprehension of having such people gain citizenship.

The Muslim Brotherhood has its representatives now just in about every American campus. Is that a mere coincidence?

A Middle Eastern commentator suggested at this point the best America can do is to not support any Muslim Brotherhood leader or faction. We have to literally dig our way out and away from the Muslim Brotherhood and it also should begin here on our own land.

Our problem is that America was pouring over a billion dollars a year into Egypt, it was not making any connection or benefit to the common people, the majority you see on tv.

Note it is the Mubarek crowd that came in and began the violence. And now it is the Muslim Brotherhood and allegations of communist leaders who are now taking the power. And they will win, not through imposing Islam per se, but making their way through acts of terrorism – attacking civilians in their daily way of life.

The Copt Catholics, as so many of us around the globe I assume, are most profoundly concerned about their welfare as the Iraqi Christians. I heard that the Chaldean Christians are no more due to the Islamicists.

I came across this book, ‘Catholic Prophecy’, not knowing we had such books. I came to a new Catholic book store…on the day John Paul II was shot in Rome by a Muslim.
I opened it and came right away about a part that some day the Arabs would overrun Europe, destroying everything, and that it would take the entire Occidental world to overcome militant Islam. In the end, many Muslims would convert to Christianity. And Mother Mary would be of great help in bringing them to Christ.

John Paul II said to pray the rosary and do penance, the only remedy to modern terrorism.

The West should never-mind all mid-east affairs. Western nations need to focus on blocking anti-democratic extremists from entering, including all Islamic jihaadists.

All Christians should flee arab nations and seek refuge in friendly democratic societies of the West. Those unable to do so on their own should be offered details on where to go by western Christians via internet, in order to escape.

Islam and it’s “sharia” law need to be contained. (My prayers are with Israel)

TEPO…

You say some things…certainly the jihadists…including those who operate in another dimension of economic jihad by suing…need to move back to their nations of origin. If they plan to change our country in hostile ways as we are seeing…in good conscience, they are doing bad and need to move out.

The Chancellor of England is finally bringing the public to terms that they have gone too far in tolerance, England now being a hotbed of extremists…incredible to see.

It is so tragic about the Christians there…the Copts…the Assyrian Christians who were there in Iraq before the Muslims. But it doesn’t look good.

All the evil the jihadists do is now works to build the resolve to overcome them. I think now of Psalm 37.
