As part of your penance, can the priest require you to reveal your sin to another?

I am going to confession tonite to confess something I am so, so ashamed of and it involves infidelity. I know God wants me to confess and be whole again and be relieved of this burden and shame. My worry is that could the priest require me to tell my spouse as part of my penenace? This would for sure end my marriage.
 
Dear friend,

The priest cannot in any way require you to divulge anything from Confession. If he tried to do so, he would be excommunicated.
