Ash Wednesday double-duty protocol

I’ve already been this morning, and will be singing again tonight. So what should I do regarding the ashes, which I haven’t washed off?

There really isn’t a protocol that I am aware of. Receive more ashes or don’t.

If the ashes you already received are still obvious tonight then it might be silly to receive more tonight. But if they are worn away and singing won’t interfere with receiving more then why not?
 
It’s a Sacramental. Its no different than dipping your hand in the holy water font and blessing your self

It pretty much amounts to the same thing.
