Ask and you will receive forgiveness

At Mass today, one of our deacons delivered the Homily. His focus was on the first readings, specifically about Paul, who was changed from a persecutor of Christians to person who became a Christian and turned his life around as he became a servant of Jesus Christ.
The point being made that all who are in sin can ask and receive forgiveness. And that it is never too late to move forward and to live for the peace and love of today, rather than to lament about the wrongs of the past.
May all who need to go to confession go. And may they receive absolution for their sins.
And may the peace and love of Jesus Christ be with everyone!
