Hello & Salaam Everyone,

Please try to answer positive questions. I know you people have some misunderstanding with ISLAM. Which is not going to go away at once. I also want you all to question one at a time. So i will provide you brief answer. As this is not the islamic forum. But Inshallah muslims on here and myself try to answer your questions. As soon as possible. I will welcome & thankful to Sister Amy also to answer some of the questions which are meaning ful rather not to answer anti-islamic. Thank you very much.
“you people”??

Many of us have NO misunderstanding about Islam and many here probably know more about Islam than you!

As for Amy; well why do you need her to answer; you posted the thread and you acted like you had all the answers and now you are passing the buck to Amy.

Don’t accuse him of passing the buck. He seemed to be getting behind so I just offered to help.

Socrates said the only reason he was wiser than the so-called wise men was that he admitted his own ignorance.

Why should I care what socrates said?

You better consider yourself lucky to even know who he is as most Muslims DO NOT get history lessons in school. It is considered unislamic! You are a product of the west! And NOT a product of true Islam.
Ask my Pakistani husband how lucky we are.
Maybe I will get him to join:thumbsup:

We have more wisdom than you think.
Have fun & keep asking questions particularly positive questions. Because we do not want to argue here just want to convey true message of ISLAM.
And why ask positive questions? Islam is not as good and positive as you think.

Here are some questions to get you started…

**1) Muhammad asked God about turning the direction of prayer; why would the all mighty GOD change his mind or give into this mortal sinner? **
  1. Musa said “tho shall not kill” Dont you follow Musa? Is he not a prophet?
3)When exactly do you believe that the Bible was corrupted and by whom?

4)The Islamic religion teaches that Jesus Christ was a practicing Muslim. My question is: is this any less ridiculous than if Christians said Muhammad was a practicing Buddhist?

**5)Muslims state that they believe that the Bible is a book filled with pornography, and quoted Gen 19:32 where Lot made his two daughters pregnant. My Question is: Do you feel that the Bible should be removed from every library in Canada? And are you comfortable with the fact that your prophet Muhammad married a six year old child, when he was 55 years old? Do you think this is a good story to tell children? **

6)Does the Qur’an define the word “Allah”?

7)Did Muhammad participate in the pagan ceremonies of Mecca?

8)Was the title “al-ilah” (the god) used of the Moon-god?

9)Was the word “Allah” derived from "al-ilah?"
  1. (a)Was the pagan “Allah” a high god in a pantheon of deities?
    (b)
Was he worshipped at the Kabah?

**That was a good question. The answer is that God is not our father in the normal / general sense of the word. I believe that he is not the Father of any one, Jew or muslim or christain. But since He is the creator of all, it can be said that he is a father. That is in a metaphoric sense.

About the personal relation, it is necessary to know what are the personal relations. If it means that he comes and sits with me, or I go to visit him or he comes and eats with me or he lends me money, there is such a lot involved in the personal relations. The answer is NO.

But if it is also metaphoric / symbolic then I can say that I do have some relation with Him and that is of a poor humble servant to the Lord Almighty. I pray to Him only and He listens and provides me with comfort. I do not associate any one with God, any one of the mankind or Jinn or ghost or spirit or any bird or prophet. I do not associate any of them with God.

I do have a personal relation with my God spiritually. But the quality and quantity of that relation may be very poor.**

** Another important lesson from the muslim side is as follows:

In the previous scriptures, there was some policy of father and son business. Father is called Abb in Arabic. The new teachings as per Quran is that there is no more father / son (Abb) relationship now. That is finished.

Islam has now presented the universal relationship of Rabb. That is the sustainer, provider, helper, developer Lord. Rabb is the Lord of all creation, material or immaterial. So the system of Abb is finished now. It is better to remember the creator Lord as Rabb. and forget about the Abb.**

Unfortunately my DH got his education in a muslim country and was never taught these things (unlike the west). Like you he “only” knows the “good questions” in islam and only knows the one sided history but …hey he’s learning.

They are not sparking question but a honest attempt in getting some straight answers but I see you are not EDU enough to answer as most muslims cannot.

Answer

Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. For a fifth of the world’s population, Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life. Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority has nothing to do with the extremely grave events, which have come to be associated with their faith.

Yes, thanks for the guidance. The name of our religion is not linked to any city or family or person. The name of our religion is Islam. That means peace. It is not a religion for any family or race or country. Our religion also admits that other religions exist and they have a way of life. That guidance was given to other nations and every nation had a guide (prophet). Prophets appeared in every nation. That is a good broad view of our religion.

**1. Yes, Muhamamd wished for somethign and God granted his wish. There is no harm in that. You are absolutely wrong about the sin business.
2. Musa did not say anything. It was God who told Musa to say something “thou shall not kill…” But see what the followers of Musa are doing?? Are they acting upon it?? Then we better not discuss such things which do not mean anything and we should come to the realities.

The order given through Musa was for the Israeli people. It is their duty to obey that order. Our prophet told us not to kill any innocent person. That advice is more practical and close to nature. The policy of the church about love and killing is un-natural.
  1. The corruption in the bible was done very quickly after Jesus went away. Many people may have acted on that behalf but paul (and to some extent Peter too) were responsible to reverse the real teachings of the man of God (Jesus). Paul was nothing in the system. He came from outside and highjacked the whole affair. So, you know how the paradise was lost.
  2. Please try to understand the difference between a Muslim and a Budhist. Muslim stands for submission to the will of Allah. Budhist does not mean anything. Do you understand?? We have no problem. We feel that we Muslims are doing justice to Jesus by saying that he was Muslim, i.e. completely obedient to God. He had a God.
But if you prefer then call Jesus a budhist please. We wont stop you, Instead of calling Jesus a Muslim, you may call that Jesus was a Budhist.
More later, God Willing…**

** The question is vague. It should be made clear keeping in view the tight (strict regimental) dresses of the nuns and sisters in the churches and church associations. Keep that in view how they dress and also keep in view the absolute sex, dance and drink life of the western world and then try to protect the non muslim (christian) population from the great corruption in which they are now sunk deep.

There is no concept of marriage amongst the christains and they do not marry unless they produce a child first.

Please let us look at those things and then we may have some good answer to the segregation rules in Islam. Thanks.**

I aksed several questions. None of them are anti-Islamic or “negative”, yet you haven’t answered one of them.

I don’t expect a long, detailed response to any of them. So what gives? You asked us for questions so you could answer them, but you won’t answer them?

Were there specific questions that you were hoping we would ask?

Joan

Why can’t you answer the question without bringing Christianity and the west into it?? Women in Islam have to be all covered up because Muslim cannot control their sexual urges otherwise, which says a lot for Islamic “virtue”.

**

**

This is the typical garbage Muslims are taught to make them feel “superior” to everyone else but yet cannot even prove their virtue unless temptation is removed from them.

**

The segregation rules in Islam are just another way to make Muslims appear virtuous by means of removing temptation. Real virtue can live next to vice and not give in to it. Without freedom there is no morality.

Check out the life of Saint Agatha to see what real virtue is all about!
