Asking for prayers tonight

**Blessed Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful-
Mother and love the weary, abused, neglected
or forgotten among us-
Surround and show the unwanted little souls who’ve
been aborted, the love and care they never knew in life-
Give your aid to all needing help or healing-
Assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering-
Be with those needing peace-
Console the lonely or brokenhearted-
Comfort the lost or hopeless-
Guard the unborn-
Pray for those who are dying or who have died-
Soften those with hardened hearts-
Strengthen the fearful-
Enlighten those who do not yet see truth-
Help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go-
Show us the way to do the right thing-
Stand next to those needing courage-
Protect those who are in danger, and
Guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

Thank you all for your prayers. They are so welcomed. I hope it is okay for a Prayer Warrior to ask for prayer.

Of course it is ok to ask for prayers, but you know that. I too have been a prayer warrior for decades. Yes, I am old. There have been many times when I have coveted the prayers of other intercessors and also those who could only say the word, Jesus. With your experience you know that the style of praying changes over the years. I have gone from long lists to written prayers to free form prayers to the understanding that like the priests of the OT, I wear those who have asked me for prayer and my friends and family on my chest, like they wore the 12 stoned chest piece into the Holy of Holies. Those stones represented the 12 tribes of Israel. So my stones represent those mentioned above, Israel, Our Pope and Magesterium etc., certain geographical locations, bodies of water: whatever is laid on my heart. Sometimes folks call me for special intense prayer. I usually keep those names posted on my refrigerator so I can see them all day long and intercede as led by The Holy Spirit. Prayer is an adventure and learning and communing with Our Lord. I even found a prayer that Padre Pio said daily for all who asked him for prayer.
Prayer has shaped my life for decades. And I desire others to pray for me, often.
I hope I have encouraged you. You are absolutely loved by the Lord. As you stand the gap as the priests of old did, you are entering into the prayers of all of His people from Adam, Abraham, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Paul, Peter, John and Our Lord Himself. May God bless and strengthen you. His powerful hand is on you and your situation right now! As you open your heart and eyes and you will see His hand moving on behalf of yourself and all you carry in your heart.

Thank you for those beautiful words of encouragement. I had my scheduled hour of Adoration today which helped along with the prayers all the nice people posted here. I feel better than I did last night. I am up and down. It is easier for me to pray for others than myself I think. Thank you.
