My wife has been diagnosed with cancer in the abdominal area, and we are awaiting more test results. Her name is Sandy Mock, and we have been married for 30 years. All prayers and good thoughts will be appreciated, and I’ll keep you posted as time goes on. Thanks and God bless. Dave Mock

Dave, I’ll remember Sandy, and you, at Mass and during Communion.
I thank God that Sandy is having the tests and will receive all the care available.
I guess you both feel very anxious and uneasy and I ask God to help you both through the uncertainty.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

Jesus I ask Your tender healing care for Sandy and her husband Dave as they deal with the shock and anxiety of her diagnosis
Please ensure that she will receive all the care available, and that her discomfort is eased as much as possible.

Update on my wife Sandy. We have decided to take her to a cancer specialist in Toledo. He is one of the best in our area, and is familiar with her from a previous surgery in 2003. He test came back as inconclusive, whatever that means. Our local hospital is pretty good, but is limited in doctor talent. Please, everybody keep praying, as I will for everybody on the forum.
