Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end.
Amen

latest update on my wife-- the preliminary diagnosis is lymphoma, which is according to doctor, is one of the most treatable and survivable cancers. She will be taking chemo, we are happy with the diagnosis as compared to other types of cancer. Keep the prayers coming as the treatments are not going to be easy for her. We’ll be praying for everybody on the forum. Thanks again and God bless. Dave and Sandy Mock Montpelier, Ohio Sacred Heart Parish

Praise the Lord. Praying for sandy and for you. .

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth as in Heaven
Give us this day, our daily Bread
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us
Do not bring us to the test
But deliver us from evil
Amen

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Sould and Divinity
Of Your Dearly Beloveed Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement of our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Lord Jesus Christ, you bore our sufferrings and carried our sorrows
Hear our prayers for the sick
Help them to unite themselves in your sufferrings
And if it is your will
May they get better
Let them never forget that you care for them
Amen.

Hi all the chemo starts this coming Monday morn, and again on Tues. It’s not going to be fun but it may save her life. I just heard that a friend of mine has inoperable throat cancer. His name is Boyd so keep him in your prayers, too. He’s only 45. My wife Sandy and I thank you all for all your prayers. God Bless all the forum members!!

Saint Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be…
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.Amen

I am so thankful to hear that the prognosis for successful treatment is so positive. I’m sure the chemotherapy treatments will be difficult, but your friends here are all praying for you! I will ask that a Mass be offered for your family’s health. Please keep us updated on your wife’s health. I will certainly be praying for your friend Boyd, as well.

Divine Mercy
Eternal God,
in whom mercy is endless
and the treasury of compassion
  • inexhaustible,
    look kindly upon us
and increase Your mercy in us,
    that in difficult moments
    we might not despair
    nor become despondent,
    but with great confidence
submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen

Hi all, my wife Sandy has her first chemo treatments this week, and she came through in pretty good shape, although yesterday was worse than today. She will have a long road ahead, but she wants to fight it with all she has. She has to go in tomorrow (wed) for a shot to bolster her white blood cells, which are decreased due to the chemo drugs. With all the prayers being said for her, I’m sure she’ll have a positive outlook. In the meantime, we’ll be praying for all the forum members that have sicknesses of any kind, especially cancer. God bless you all, and Merry Christmas.

I was at Eucharistic Adoration this evening and was praying for you and your wife. I was wondering how things were going and I am so thankful to have an update this evening! I know this is a very difficult time for both of you. I am truly sorry for these difficulties. I hope you will let your wife know that she has many brothers and sisters in the faith who are concerned for her and praying for her daily.

May God bless both of you during this difficult time, and may “the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Phillippians 4:7).

Continued prayers for your wife

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we turn to you, O Virgins of virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us and answer us. Amen.
