Asking for you're prayers and guidance

Hi, I’m new to forums and I’ve come asking for your prayers and advice on masturbation. I am currently in a struggle against this habit I’ve formed over 6 months ago after being clean of it for 2 years. I’m not sure what I should do and I’m also wondering where in this forum I can be accountable to someone instead of just me being accountable to myself.

I will pray for your intention, especially because I am still struggling with this same sin. Don’t be afraid to go to confession and tell this to the priest, because he will grant you forgiveness in the person of Christ.

Mary and Joseph, our models of perfect chastity, help us to be more like you despite our struggles with sexual sin. Through your efficacious intercession, obtain for us protection from temptation and evil and give us the strength and grace to grow in the virtues of chastity and purity. :crossrc:
 
I struggle with this too. I will pray for you; please also pray for me.

Dear Lord, you represent perfect love; grant us the virtue of chastity so that we may do your will. Remove from us our primal instincts so that we may serve you to the best of our ability. Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on us poor sinners: especially those in most need of it.

All glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen.

I also am familiar with this struggle. I suggest praying the Rosary daily. The Virgin Mother is especially powerful when it comes to fighting these temptations. Feel free to send me a message if there’s anything I can do. You will be in my prayers. :signofcross:
 
Wow I’d just like to thank all of you for your prayers and offers of aid. I am extremely happy right now because of you people 🙂 . Thanks very much! Even though I’ve fallen into a rut recently I think I will start coming here on a daily basis. I will also try and attempt some of the suggestions you’ve offered up. Thanks again, you guys and gals are truly giving me hope!
