My family is Presbyterian. Both of my parents regularly show distaste for the Catholic Church. ( I’m 13) Jesus is pulling me to the Catholic Church I feel. I’ve prayed Marian prayers before and really want to pray the rosary but I’m not sure how to do so with out completely going against my parents.

I mean there’s really no need to… I always say that God gave us 10 fingers for a reason haha.

If you would really want one, perhaps try to find a Catholic church within walking distance to you - they’ll likely have freebies you can take.

Do you really think - your parents will be disappointed in you ?
Might as well find out -
If I were your dad - I’d talk it over with the wife -
and give you a year with the Catholic faith 😇

I recently read - from Saint John Vianney -
that children - actually have a responsibility - toward their parents !
I thought that was great to read !

The OP is 13 years old. According to him his parents are against the Catholic Church. While I appreciate his desire to learn more and possibly join the Catholic Church in the future, he is now under the control of his parents and we should not be encouraging him to act against their wishes.

Praying the Rosary on his fingers is fine but going to get one when his parents don’t want him have one should not be suggested.

This.

The rosary is a lovely devotion, however, it is a private devotion and is not required. The OP should obey parents until he/she is an adult.
