Hello,
Can you please pray for Yelena, she is my 17 year old daughter on the tip of the austism spectrum. I prefer the term aspergers, at least a little less scary for NTs.

She has roled played being a teacher of prep/1 children since she was 6yrs old in her room.

She is currently studying certificate 2 in community services specialising in children services.

I am told if she is to pass her units and the course, there will need to be an effort on her part in interacting with children, obviously, but so hard for her.

She does is so beautifully in her room, but struggles with it in the course.

The VET teacher showed my daughter a photo of herself at the biggest playgroup and in it, it shows she stood back and did not get involved.

I feel lost for her and dont know what to do and which way to go. I feel that I am the wrong advocate for her. I dont feel confident in myself for her. I have a war inside me going on and get really upset with God. I have asked for clarity and get fog.

I hate thinking about her future.
She needs prayers of people that God listens to. He doesn’t hear me.

I think I am depressed.

Thankyou and God Bless

Yelena, I bless you with the special blessing of our Blessed Mother. May the power of the Holy Spirit come upon you. Amen.

Shea, I bless you with the special blessing of our Blessed Mother. May the power of the Holy Spirit come upon you. Amen.

God hears you… and perhaps He wanted you to reach out to us! How blessed you are for thinking to ask the faithful at large for support and prayers! Perhaps, He even wanted me to point this out to you!

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

My son is on the spectrum as well. He’s only 5, though, so the “future” seems very far off right now. :o One day at a time.

I know it can seem like God doesn’t hear your prayers, but He does. Keep praying. I’ve been learning more and more that if I am not my son’s advocate, no one else is likely to take on that role. I can’t say I know what that will look like at age 17, though. I find it difficult to discern when he needs to push through and do something so that he will learn and get better at it and when he simply cannot do something and needs help.

I will pray for your daughter. And for you, too.

Praying for Yelena’s health & recovery & for you & your family’s intentions.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

A Prayer of St. Francis for Autism
by Tim Tucker

Lord, let thy peace fill me up until I overflow;
that where people cannot speak, I may be their advocate;
that where anyone is rejected, I may extend my arms in welcome;
that where parents are heavy burdened, I may offer a word of comfort;
that where our children struggle, I may lift them up and cheer;
that where some see disability, I may reveal to them extraordinary gifts;
that where others judge, I may share with them my deep gladness;
and that where any are overlooked, I may help the lights of all to shine.
O Giver of These Gifts,
grant that I may not so much seek to be reassured as to reassure;
to be praised, as to praise;
to be accepted, as to accept;
for it is in all our uncertainty that we are inspired to hope;
it is in great challenges that we discover our greatest joys,
and it is in our community of wanderers that we find the way home.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen
