i know this topic has been told already but i decided to create this after i read the topics are closed about it. and as a Catholic Christian and Former Protestant since 2015, im here to talk about a Controversial game that has been around since 2007 and i protest against it because it Antagonizes christianity and protagonizes islam and i find it disgusting, ive been bashed for protesting against it before on youtube and google plus but i think its best to protest it here instead. ok. 1. Assassin’s Creed is Anti-Christian because you target a Christian Military Order called the Knights Templar (An Order Who Protected Christians on the way to Europe and Jerusalem and Christians worldwide from Anti-Christian Opression) (There are alot Conspiracy theories surrounding the Templars but none of them are true because the pope pardoned them in 1307 and that was revealed in 2001 by Historian Barbara Frale). 2. Assassin’s Creed is Pro-Muslim because in every game (Except Rogue) you play as a Member of Shia Muslim Group called the Hashashin AKA Assassins and what sickens me is ubisoft potrayed them as Heroes instead of the Templars as heroes which is also Anti-Christian, Because Historically, The assassins aka hashashin were not freedom fighters, they were a sadistic Order of Muslim Hitmen from Syria and Persia that killed Kings and Crusaders (They Also Killed Saracens and Sultans but they are still evil even they killed both Christians (Crusaders) and Muslims (Saracens)) they were rewarded for an illegal drug called hashish after successfully killing their contracts, and as a Catholic and Former Protestant, i think ubisoft should protested against in their Founding Area (France) because they are brainwashing people with lies about a Christian military order (Templars) and a Muslim Terrorist Group (Hashashin/Assassins), and as a Christian Rights Conservative, this also saddens me and its blasphemy against the holy spirit. because that game glorify’s the Death of God’s Holy Army (Templars and the Crusader States), therefore as catholic christians, i suggest to protect your kids from the Assassin’s Creed Series because its Anti-Christian Compared to Bayonetta and His Dark Materials (Golden Compass). if you want to play a game that portays Holy armies of God as good (Even though in the media there is alot anti-christian/anti-catholic myths surrounding us), play games like: Dante’s Inferno, Diablo Series, Age of Empires, Total War, Castlevania, Dark Souls, Warcraft, Mount and Blade, Warhammer, Elder Scrolls and Fallout, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic Final Fantasy (The XIIIth Trilogy is Anti-catholic but the others arent) and other games i recemmend that dont portray christianity as evil, sorry for my bad spelling im only good at certain words i spell. my views on this after going to catholic church alot taught me that life is more than video games and thats why i decided to limit myself on Anti-Christian games like Assassin’s Creed, as a Christian Rights Conservative and Catholic Christian, these are my opinion and i hope you respect it and ill respect yours. God Bless you and may he help you find the right path. Deus Vult.

I just so happen to be fairly well acquainted with the AC story line. The Templars in Assassins Creed are far from being holy warriors of God: they’re an atheistic group who seek peace through order, as opposed to the Assassins who seek peace through freedom. The Knights Templar and Hashashins are both fronts for their centuries long battle. And it’s obvious that the Templars are treating faith in God as a front (as can be seen by their commonly used phrase, “May the Father of Understanding guide us”).

They’re not holy warriors in AC. They’re manipulating the Church for their own personal gain.
Dragon Age
I’m guessing you haven’t played the second game.
Mass Effect
Mass Effect? The only Christian I know in the whole series is Ashley, and even then in the first game she’s a massive xenophobe.

i have read that about both the templars and assassins, but i still think its Anti-Christian/Anti-Catholic. but in reality, the Templars were christians and the Hashashin AKA Assassins were muslims, there is no such thing as Atheistic Templars or Atheistic Assassins. thats in the game only and not in reality as i read some history books and read on some wikis to share the difference between History (Fact) and Myth (Conspiracy).

Why? They’re both shells of the real factions they portray.

Obviously.

Ubisoft doesn’t present the AC series as actual history. They base it loosely off historical events.

and BTW, in reality, Templars were Good people, they just wanted to Protect Christians worldwide, there are alot of conspiracies surrounding them and many people believe them but none of them are true. i renounced conspiracy theories 2 years ago because its fake history and its nothing but a Cult of Gnostic Propaganda.

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

They even admit in the game it’s fake and that it’s a work of fiction.

Ugh…

I have about five Assassin’s Creed games and are my favorite from that genre of video game.

I’m aware of the conspiracies and that the actual Knights Templar were noble and had holy intentions. I’m Catholic.

ive read that yes but still. ive read alot of spoilers in the game in order to expose these blasphemous games. i also suggest reading these history books because the templars were not evil and not satanic: 1. The Knights Templar Absolution: The Chinon Parchment and the History of the Poor Knights of Christ A.A. Grishin. 2. The Templars: The Secret History Revealed by Barbara frale.

you can find these books on amazon and in your local library.

i know but alot of people think they were evil and satanic when they are not.

yes i know who St. Bernard de Clairvaux is, i own the manual

As someone who plays the games, I didn’t care one way or the other. It was a great story line and a fun game.

That is all that mattered.

well, Rogue is the only one that didnt bother me, the rest of the games bothered me but not Rogue.

You’re on a Catholic forum. You picked it because we’re Catholic. You don’t need to be repeating yourself when no one here has questioned it.

Now how is it blasphemous?

Okay, so I didn’t read the whole thing, but I think you are right

because Fighting against the Catholic Church and its Armies (Crusaders) is considered to be killing christians.

yes, because the assassins were muslim terrorists that fought for nothing but drugs and money, they were not freedom fighters, they were jihadists and drug dealers.
