Perhaps you are not understanding what I am questioning. I am not questioning the idea that Mary was willing to die. What I am questioning is the idea that this was the cause of her death. To say that she did not die because of subjection to natural corruption is to say that she did not die a normal death. If anything it would more like the repose of John.
