So I read an old thread which I couldn’t reply to because it was locked. I’m assuming it’s because it was from 2007. But I wanted to clear up a bit of misinformation contained in that thread.
Lucid dreaming is simply being conscious that you are dreaming. Many people have no control over this, though some do. It seems silly to me that something that is a natural body process would be a sin. I don’t believe God would let you do something out of your control that was sinful especially when you have no control over it.
Now astral travel, I’m not sure about. Though many people have spontaneously astral travelled out of their control. But during astral travel, your soul doesn’t actually leave you. It supposedly stays connected to you. In my opinion, though I’ve never personally done it, I don’t think any of that happens. I think it’s just a switch in consciousness similar to meditation. Just your body doing weird things.
