i beleive that starting the Rosary should be said between the ages of four and five yrs old,and should know it by heart around 8 yrs old,but some one should make sure that he saids it daily.
My husband and I would put our daughter to bed and than say the rosary. One night she asked if she could join us. She was about a year and a half from that time on she was with us. She learned the prayers by listening to us and then by leading the rosary herself at about three. With each of our other five children it was the same. It never occurred to us to make it more simple for them by the age of three they were able to lead a decade at at time. It was nice there was five so they each had one decade. One child just couldn’t get the hang of the Glory be for a long time. It was Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit Amen.
My daughter told me that she never quite learned the Apostle creed because we went to fast. I didn’t realize we were doing that to her:blush:
