At what point is a people too stupid to be free?

There is no relationship between knowing truth and being a free agent. We are all made in the Image of God and thus all blessed with Free Will. Yes free will can be damaged or weakened by our misuse of it, but it does not lessen nor destroy the dignity of freedom that we have. No one is too stupid to be free.

Misuse of our free will, that means one knows that the choice in not quite right.
Part of what you know is what you believe. If one’s beliefs are wrong, then his options are a fake, then he chooses wrong, even in his mind he has the ilusion of freedom and of the “right choice”. There is, Neil Tyson with his “entertaining system”, which is rather disgusting, but you can’t go arround while he takes the matter in open discusions meant “to convince” other people and in fact to corrupt them.
