A relative’s death anniversary is approaching and I was planning to have Mass said for him. Is this an appropriate thing to do? Should I arrange for it to occur in his old parish?
You can have Mass said for the deceased at any Catholic parish you wish. You can also ask a Catholic religious order or congregation to celebrate the Mass.
