Yes. But the bible does not say this. We go by the NT. We go by the word of Jesus Christ. And he said thou shall not kill. The NT when Mary was getting stoned Jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone. He kinda stopped everyone in their tracks woudn’t ya say.

Jesus said if someone sins they are to confess their sins and sin no more. So sorry Jesus never told us to stone anyone. He said to pray for them. Alot of things in the NT are made more clear by Jesus.

Jesus said he who is without sin let them cast the first stone. So I guess if you could find someone in this world without sin. GOOD LUCK!

OK, so you do not believe everything in the bible is the word of god. Thats all you have to say.

And how can you tell me how I can explain to my friend that their child being gay does not effect them in any way. Because they fill it does.

How do you explain to a parent that if they do not accept the sin thats up to them. What kind of answer is that?

If the parent feels that their child is comitting a mortal sin, then probably nothing will change their mind as they are told how to feel by the bible.
Another option would be to igonre what the bible says and not let it be an issue.

Where did I say that? I said in the OT they stoned people for sin. I told you in the NT Jesus died for our sins and paid for them. He said he who is without sin can cast the first stone. Where is that denying the word of God.

I believe ever word in the bible, Could you show me where Jesus said we should stone someone to death for being gay?

But how could that be an option for someone who believes in the word of God and the bible. They are not told how to feel. That is taking away free will from God. No one can tell you how to feel. No one can make you feel anything. What you fell inside can’t be co ntroled its who you are and what you are made up of.

SO again you answer is that parent is What? nothing, what kinda answer is that?

Or are you saying I should say to the parent forget God, reject him and accept the sin.

I didnt say jesus, I said god. so are you saying it was ok to stone people to death years ago, just not today?

I said Jesus made the word of GOD more clear, not that Jesus Christ changed the word of God.

“If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives.” (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

I though jesus was god? So has he changed his mind?

Nope not at all. Its still the same. They still have been put to death. Its called death of the soul. You just don’t understand the words you quote is all.

Jesus said don’t worry about the death of your body, Our bodys will die because they are of this world and will fade away. But the soul is what you worry about they can have eternal life or eternal death.

So nope never changed his mind at all. Just explained it better.

And yes you are correct Jesus is God made man. He redeemed us from the law. He paid for all of our sins. We now can be forgiven on this earth from our sins, All we have to do is confess our sins and quit doing them. He paid the price for every sin. We no longer have to stone or kill eachother. He paid the price of death when he became Man and paid for mans sins. That is why he is the savior of the world. There is not one sin he did not pay for. All we have to do is believe and repent and we are saved.

He didn’t change the law he fullfilled it!😃

Those are basic options. continue to believe your child is comitting a mortal sin, or do not. If you say you cannot change they way you feel they there is nothing they can do.

Once again, if the bible is the word of god, and god says to stone people to death if they are homosexual, is this moral or not? It cannot be clearer. Was this ok in the OT but not in the NT?

But you said that being gay does not effect other peoples lives. How do you either discontinue to believe something that is the truth?

You never showed me the scripture that said that we have permission to stone a person to death for being gay. Could you show it to me?

If two people engage in consenual homosexual acts, then it should be their business and no-ne elses. If people feel offended by that, then that is up to them.
Do you feel women should cover up their entire bodies and most of their face because if they do not another faith may be offended?

It does not get any clearer. So, again, is this moral or not? It is ok to stone people in the OT but not in the NT?

Where did I ever say its up to me to be in peoples business. You said that if a person is gay it does not hurt others and I showed you where it hurt alot of inocent people. I showed you will all sin effects many inocent people.

But I am sorry how we live our lives do effect otheres lives. If someone sins many people suffer because of that sin. You can deny that all you want. but you still have not showed me how one persons sin does not effect anothers lives. I am still waiting for you to show me that.

Again my friend is affected by the sin, And she did not choose that.

If a women wants to cover up her body because of her faith that is cool by me. My church does not teach that. But we must cover ourself that is pleasing to God. If we feel we are okay thats between us and God not others.

It does not matter what I feel as far as others Go, its what God says not me. I go by the word of God, not others faiths etc. God left the CHurch to Peter and the Pope is our leader I go by the pope. Thats what the bible tells me to do. Not by other peoples faith.

How many times did I tell you that JESUS CHRIST paid for our sins with inocent blood. No he took the stones. I thought you had Catholic teaching. Did you forget to get off the bus or what:D

I told you they are put to death. Death of the soul. Where does that scripture say we have permission to stone them?:eek:

So once and for all JESUS PAID FOR OUR SINS, HE HAD NONE. HE PAID THE PRICE FOR ALL MAN.

Now its up to us. We either have eternal life or eternal death.

I told you the OT was the law of Abraham. The OT was waiting for the Savior of the world to come. HE CAME. HE is here. He gave us the NT now. He fullfilled the old law. We now go by the teachings of Jesus Christ. GOD MADE HIMSELF KNOWN THOUGH JESUS.

So again Jesus said NO do not stone others pray for them. He took the stones, he paid the price. What is so hard for you to understand about that?
