Atheist Morality

I guess I have always believed in God (Goodness) and Evil on some level. But reading the Bible, and practicing prayer, experiencing worship with other people has made me more conscious of morality (definition: The ability to distinguish good and evil or right and wrong, right or good conduct).

There were real evil spirits that Jesus expelled from people when He was alive, and then told them “Your sins are forgiven”. Paul explained that when we accept Christ into our hearts, we no longer want the old kind of life we were living, but are born to a new relationship to God. It’s hard to explain unless you experience it. A kind of peace and sense of knowing what is right and wrong just happens. I just wish more people would come to Christ and see what occurs in their lives.

So it would seem, to try and summarize what you’ve said, that you believe in a God, that has provided a moral code.

Also it seems that you’ve alway’s had a sense or understanding of morality(or good and evil behaviour) in some level, but this was changed in some way by more closely following your religion?

That change was what? I know…it’s hard to explain and I thank you for the response you’ve given.
