In these days of fake news we must of course be thankful that Facebook can always be relied for the gospel truth. If Krauss said it then he may have had the following report in mind. It appeared in several newspapers.

This is indeed “sick” but I’m not sure this really is an example of religious fanatics relying on faith healing, or just people who trust Dr. Google more than the medical establishment. That’s hardly uncommon, most of the people who refuse vaccines don’t do so for religious reasons, either. They could also be making excuses for selfishly neglecting their son so they could party.

Yes, but how many Christians do you know who are like that?

I agree the meme has a kernel of truth when it comes to the way some people approach religion. But it hardly proves atheism. Anymore than a meme about religious people condoning human sacrifice would, just because some religions have engaged in human sacrifice in history.
 
Why, it reminds me of a quote from the Bible.
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
