He might exist. I just haven’t seen any proof of it.
Well, the Kalam.
And your refutation of this is…?
And I was told that after starting the process which created this universe he became mortal and lived among us. So the immaterial, infinite etc descriptions don’t fit.
Well, it would only not fit if God ceased to be immaterial, infinite, etc.
But, of course, as you know, the Incarnation doesn’t posit that this happened.

No winking there. I was told most emphatically by someone I trust that Thor started the process which created this universe and then became mortal. Nothing else should be read into that that might align with other religious beliefs.
Remember, Thor = the necessary, eternal, infinite, transcendent, immaterial, omnipotent, omniscient creator of the Universe.

We’re talking about Thor. He isn’t/wasn’t infinite etc. I told you, he apparently started the process whereby this universe came into being and then became mortal.

I don’t know how he did it and I have seen no proof, so I have my doubts.

No, he’s none of them. He didn’t need to start the process so he’s not necessary. He’s now mortal so not eternal or infinite or transcendental or immaterial. He has no control over how the universe continues so he’s not omnipotent and he doesn’t know the future. So he’s not omniscient.

You must be thinking of someone else…

We’re talking about Thor.
Yes…Thor, who is the necessary, eternal, infinite, transcendent, immaterial, omnipotent, omniscient creator of the Universe.
He isn’t/wasn’t infinite etc.
Sure he is. Otherwise, he couldn’t be the source of the material universe.
I told you, he apparently started the process whereby this universe came into being and then became mortal
Excellent. Then you are a deist.
That is an important and significant acknowledgement from you.

I’m sorry, but I already gave all the reasons why he doesn’t posess any of the attributes you have given him. He had always existed but he is now mortal, so is he eternal or infinite? He started this universe but couldn’t control how it unfolded, so is he omnipotent? And he doesn’t know how it’s going to turn out so is he omniscient?

You need to answer all those questions.

This isn’t a problem for you now that you’re a deist.

Christianity is something we can discuss later.

I’m not a deist. I’m repeating what I have been told about Thor. I don’t believe he exists. But let’s just say that he’s less unbelievable than other gods I have been told about.
