I’m sure I committed a mortal sin today.
I turned my alarm clock off and went back to sleep because I didn’t want to get up to go to church. I’m not sure when exactly the real sin takes place: last night when I decided to not go to bed until 2:30 am, knowing I had to get up the next morning, or today when I refused to get up anyway.
Nevertheless, today I was going to go to the Church that my RCIA classes are at instead of the Baptist church I usually attend but I didn’t go to either.
I want to make up for this somehow by giving God back his time.
I noticed that some parishes in my city have weekday worship services. Are these the same as the mass that would be attended on a Sunday?
Jesus be with you.
I am a convert, you will have to fight, i am sorry hon, but you got to fight for what you want. They will not let you go by choice, that is just the way it is.
If you want to convert you will have to fight. Now this is the nasty side of Catholic/protestant relations, this is where the dealing gets dirty. Jesus protect you, Jesus be with you, Jesus…
You not waking up to go to mass, you missing RCIA, Don’t worry, I had to fight my way
all the way to the front door of the Roman Catholic Church. Oh it drives Preachers bonkers you trying to do what you are trying to do, they know better then you… It drives the preachermen nuts what you are trying.
I have seen it I have dealt with it, that week feeling that comes over you, that not wanting to go. I have seen it, I have dealt with it. It is hard.
This is the hardest part about becomming Catholic, because of the Way the Catholic Church is constructed you got a 8 months, but you only got 6 more to go… God Bless you, Oh I could weep for you, I know I know I know…
No that preachermans fish flopped out of his basket and is running headlong for that Priests Krill… It happens it do, I grew up in the middle of a Babtist town, with non-attentive presbytarian parents, and I chose to become Catholic, I got caught by a fallen away Catholic family, living in that same Babtist town. The odds of me becomming Catholic were astronomically small.
No being in RCIA is Emmitt Smiths last 4 yards, they are always the hardest. It so so rough for me the night before I was babtised, oh my gosh it was touch, i was being mentally beat senseless…
No man, you are escaping a Matrix NEO… The Agents are there… So get your shades on… This is where you learn that Catholic / Protestant relations are still in the 1500’s.
Ben walks into the building, Opens his coat… GUNS Line the insides of his trench coat.
I know its hard bud, Ben says dumping two mags from Mini-uzi’s at two preachermen as they run for cover.
You make a break for the MASS next Sunday, and you keep going. I get paid by the Vatican to do this…
And then when you are Catholic and you see that same person languishing between two church , who wants to become Catholic is in RCIA and for some reason can’t get to
RCIA, You perform this favor for them because it you will come across yourself.
It is tough being a convert.
Love you,
Your future Brother in Christ,
Benjamin
