Yeah, really…Granted, I know nothing more than what has been written in these few posts.
Why should he pay back a scholarship?
Were there strings attached?
Scholarships are grants to students who show promise and potential.
For some grants you agree to work on behalf of say, the government for two years to “pay it back.” For teachers, we can take a job in an inner city school in order to reduce the size of our college debt.
Obviously someone has an axe to grind. If Dr. Hahn is required to pay it, I’m sure he would. My guess it that it was a free gift, and look what benefit it has had on the Kingdom of God.
In any case, I find it really weird & bizarre to be saying that this
OK, if there was a businessman, and if he loaned Scott money…why hasn’t he simply taken it into court? To sue for the money he is owed?
Oh, wait a minute…That’s right, the guy says he gave him the money. As a scholarship. To a (I believe) Baptist/Presbyterian seminary. To become an economics teacher…
And this “businessman” has no face, he has no name. And he never even tried to get the money back??
