Does it fulfill the obligation to attend my local Diocesan parish if the Mass tends to contain illicit elements, sometimes skipping the creed, some words change. I believe the consecration is valid. Once the word was “that will be given up for you” instead of “which will be given up for you” but I don’t think that invalidates the consecration. What if heresy is preached from the pulpit? (This in a general sense.) If the bishop had suspended a priest we’d certainly know about it, right?
Boy, your mass must be stressful.
Would I ever imagine to see if there are illicit elements in the mass? Never, in my mind !!!
I do my business, to pray the Lord. The Priest does his own business and I think that if he is approved by the Bishop he knows what he is doing. Anyhow, I do not care whether he does it right or wrong. I am busy praying to the Lord.
You are sure that you know theology enough to judge what you judge?
It is not compulsory the creed…
Some words change? In fact, when it is in german, french or spanish, all the words change…
Are you sure you are doing the right thing?
With your worries, Lady, you do not have peace of mind !!!
Trust in God and forget the rest…
