Attending a mormon funeral?

Hello! My mothers friends dad just passed recently and we are invited to his funeral. The man was mormon and the funeral will be at a mormon church. As a Catholic, should I choose not to attend or am I allowed to go? Thank you!
 
While Catholics should not receive communion at non-Catholic services there is no prohibition against attending for a reasonable cause. Since mere attendance at a funeral does not presuppose sharing the faith of the funeral service, I would think that a funeral of someone we know would be a reasonable cause.
