Hello, @verdigriis! Do you have a particular Catholic Bible Study group nearby? You’ll do better with that because you’re Catholic for only 3 days and you were not able to read the Catechism yet. There’s nothing wrong with attending other religions’ Bible study at all, but it can affect your faith and belief. It might stretch you into different directions if you’ll have Episcopalian, Anglican, and Catholic.

I think all Bible Studies are great!

With that being said, why don’t you also Join a Catholic Zoom Bible Study, I know the Bible Study I lead has plenty of converts like ourselves (I considered myself a Baptist because that was the Church I liked the most out of the ones I visited before becoming Catholic). I lead one myself through zoom on Sunday’s from 9:50 am - 11:30am Central Time and other leaders facilitate one on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at my parish, I just provide them the materials and coordinate them. If you would like to join our Catholic Zoom Bible study on either of those days send me a message either through my Bible study website I made for our parish community or pm me here and I will get you set up, we would love to have you join us (we have a few of us former Baptist in our Sunday/Tuesday studies).

Here is the link to our website for the Zoom Studies so you can look over them.

Here is the page for the one I am writing and leading now on 1st Corinthians (I also personally put together the one on Mark and in both studies we visit the Catechism at times to see how it aligns with the scripture):

Like I said, if you don’t have one available at your Parish or if you just want to try one out at ours it is free and everyone is welcome there.

God Bless,

Michael

Hi, i just looked at formed - it didn’t appear to be free - is there a code or something? Thanks!

I wouldn’t do it. I’ve attended 2. I wasn’t brave enough to speak up when I didst or when what they said was not in line with Catholic teaching. Or if I did speak up they could out-argue me. If you’re new to the faith they’re may be a lot of things that people say that you don’t even realize are wrong. There must be a Catholic group somewhere? I’d love to join one but I have no idea how of find one. English speaking in Germany.

You could Join ours right here in the USA if you like (just see the post above).

God Bless

I know my bible and i know scripture verbatim. If you want to be Catholic study the Saints religion etc. In addition to basic prayers. And go to mass
