No, not particularly interested and if by a one in ten million possibility that Karl lost the debate, I would remain in the Catholic Church because while debates come and go the Catholic Church is protected to the end of time by Jesus Christ himself in person. Get a life ands join the Catholic Church.

Funny how that works. I did the same years ago. Great music, funny, attention grabbing preaching, but I always left feeling like something was missing.

That’s when I realized that the most charismatic, attention grabbing, profound preaching in the world is no substitute for even the most boring sermon in the world that is followed with the consecration of the Eucharist. There is no substitute in the world for being united to Jesus in the Eucharist.

It is ironic that under their beliefs a man who committs rape is no longer allowed to even be considered for membership in their “church” but their leader has been arrested for rape, homosexual rape at that, twice! I think I’ll stick with Catholicism.

Thanks for the wiki link, did you check the last entry under critical? It looks like a catholic apologist’s site has already done a very good job presenting numerous reasons why this group is not presenting truth to anyone.

Probably not. Rather, I would simply seek to have false preachers corrected and/or excommunicated (if they remain unrepentant and obstinate in persisting in heresy).

Im not that interested. No debate will settle anything. If we have learned anything from the Reformation its that people will persist in their beliefs regardless of debates. Why would you expect a debate to accomplish anything? The Church has been defending itself against heretics for over 2000 years. What, exactly is it that you think will be accomplished by a debate?

If by some bizarre twist of fate which we can’t now foresee the Catholic Church were somehow shown not to be the “True Church”, that could only mean that the Eastern Orthodox have been correct all along, and I’d join them.
