Attraction in Dating, Important or Not?

I have been divorced and annulled for about 6 years. I’ve recently started dating a man that has many of the very qualities that I’ve hoped for. He isn’t Catholic, but is respectful and supportive of my faith and is active in his own church. Aside from our faith differences, we are compatible and have a good time on outings. My issue is I feel no chemistry. No attraction whatsoever. I fret over this and wonder if I should stop seeing him or if I should continue and hope something grows. Do I be upfront about this with him or not? So many questions. I miss male companionship and don’t want that to cloud my reasoning so I am seeking advice.
CAUTION YOU ARE ENTERING INTO A DISASTER!

4 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

But if you are determined, then go fourth but pray to God.

Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, for they will turn your sons away from following me to serve other gods, and the LORD’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you. Deuteronomy 7

I am older, have had my children and they are grown as are his. We’ve dated only a couple of times and I haven’t misled him in any way. We agreed to go out and learn more about one another and we have. I believe I will talk to the man I am dating and let him know I don’t find us compatible for the long term but would like to remain friends, if he desires to do so.

Thank you all for your responses. It helped to clarify my thoughts.

Attraction is the single most important aspect in dating.

However it is not important to a godly or happy marriage.
