I’m talking to a Protestant guy at work who listens to a lot of audio. I’m trying to find good talks on the Church fathers. The concept is completely foreign to him. I want something that will not only explain who they are and what they said, but why the are important and why a Baptist shouldn’t ignore them.

I don’t know about audio, but D. H. Williams is a Baptist scholar who has written a lot about why the Church Fathers are important and why Baptists shouldn’t ignore them.
