Sorry, but I coudn’t find a place where this would fit.

I would like to know if one can get a audiobook Bible. Do you know about it? I don’t have much time to read it, but listening to it before sleep sounds like a great idea!

Thanks a lot! 🙂

If you are talking about a Catholic Bible on CD or cassette, then here is a site that sells the New American Bible (Both Old and New Testaments) on CD and cassette.

Faith Comes By Hearing

just select bible version “New American Bible” and the Bible portion as “complete Bible” in the search menu.

I have the KJV on cds. It is a convenient little tool. I sometimes listen to it in the car. I also have the Imitation of Christ on cd and the Abandonment To Divine Providence on cd. I need to get a Catholic bible on cd. I got mine at a local bookstore but you can probably find it by searching the internet. If you have an mp3 player you can click on the following link and download books of the bible in audio. They are protestant bibles though.

Check out Borders, that is where I got The Imitation of Christ on cd. I saw some audio bibles when I was there.

I looked, and all I could find was this site that has the Revised Standard Version, New testament on CD and the Douay Rheims on cassette (need to get that on CD someday)

Okay, this is not a Catholic Bible, so the Deuterocanonicals are not included, but I have an incredible set of the NKJV called The Word of Promise. It is not only read, but dramatized, with great acting, sound effects and fantastic score. It is the most moving thing I have every heard and is word for word the Bible.

Yes, Jim Cavizel reads the words of Jesus.
…with an all-star cast led by an all-star cast of actors, including Jim Caviezel as Jesus, Richard Dreyfus as Moses, Gary Sinise as David, Jason Alexander as Joseph, Marisa Tomei, Louis Gossett Jr., and over 600 actors contributing to this timeless work.
