The conclusions they draw are horrendous. But I’m glad that they bring to attention, from a secular perspective, what Catholics have always maintined: that killing newborns and terminating pregnancies are equivalent.

What they have done is provide a reductio ad absurdum position on the ethics of abortion. It’s just a shame that they don’t realise it themselves!
 
This is nothing new and certainly not far from mainstream. It is disgusting, but so is abortion.

Indeed. Unfortunately, Satan is trying to instill a belief that anyone can kill anyone at any time and is merely working to introduce that lie a little at a time.

He is even subverting some family-friendly concepts to do it. The first few months post birth are referred to as the “fourth trimester” among some attachment parenting groups. (The “fourth trimester” term essentially refers to the child’s relatively complete physical helplessness during that time)
