I believe responsible persons can utilize birth control and still be fruitful and multiply as God intended. I don’t see the hard stance against birth control. It certainly has made many problems in many countries that have not been able to use. I don’t believe God’s Word to be fruitful and multiply was intended to remove mere pleasurable sex from a proper marriage. That is one of the finest gifts God gave us as long as it is done in a proper marriage.Old Scholar, isn’t there some value in a method of 'managing birth that effectively leaves an open door to God’s action? Is there really nothing that distinguishes it from method’s that effectively and intentionally close that door?
I believe the Rhythm method serves both purposes, helping those who want to get pregnant and likewise helping those when they do not want to get pregnant. I have no problem with that or with other methods.
