Been meaning to ask this for a while. Do any of you know a nice version of Ave Maria? I’m looking for two reasons.

1: It can be beautiful if well-done. (And currently the one I listen to only gets as far as saying, “Iesus,” before the recording ends.)

2: I’m also wondering if there’s a version I might have a chance of actually singing similarly to, given I can’t hit the high notes of the one I’ve listened to nor can I produce a plethora of harmonic voices with my one bad singing voice.
 
It may sound like an odd choice, but I have always liked the version in Disney’s Fantasia. In the beginning of the piece the instruments play the melody with chanting supporting it. Later a mezzo soprano sings. I don’t know if the range is comfortable for you though.

There are a few versions, probably the two favorites are Schubert and Gounod. Vavilov version is
