Presumably you mean the couple that could clearly not have the child biologically? That’s just how things are going to be now, I suppose.
Wells Fargo has a commercial about how they helped fund the adoption of a little deaf girl for a deaf lesbian couple. When the girl is introduced, they women sign to her about how they are her new moms, and the little girl signs back how excited she is. I guess if you paint everything in a pretty little picture, then it is easier to label anyone who objects as a hateful, intolerant homophobe, while those who accept it have another feel-good moment about their version of equality.

Its amazing how easily large groups of people can be ‘conned’ into any of this, if they see certain things on TV long enough, they start to agree with them, or at least feel indifferent about them. Ive always felt they are using TV, especially commercials, to show people what is popular and common in the world right now, if they see it enough times over a long enough period, they will be duped.Subtle, yet effective. Aveeno, I know there are Aveeno imitations I have seen at the store, one doesn’t have to pay the higher dollar amount for the brand name.

I grew up in the middle of nowhere so to speak, a very rural area.
When we speak about abortions, porn, a city like Las Vegas, yes, there are evils in the US.

OH MY!! Guys, this was planned way before the Senate news of gay “marriage”! I know because a long time ago I took a survey (being a SAHM, trying to earn something) of this Aveeno commercial, it had different scenes that could be used,they wanted to know how I felt feel about each scene of the possible Aveeno Baby commercial. It was all soothing, aww and cute until the final scene where my jaw dropped: two men, wearing the typical gay stereotype outfit and hairdo smiling with a baby girl in the middle. Of course it gave me the chills after I questioned myself “What’s with these young adults men and a baby…? OH! how disgusting.” The message was clear to me.
BTW, I don’t have TV nor watch it anywhere, so I don’t really know how the commercial turned out now. But, as I read this thread, it seems they didn’t change a thing.
